Creating an AI caller from a short brief

Describe the job in plain words on the Create a caller page and get a named AI caller with a script, a voice and captured fields, ready to test. What to write, the limits, and what happens next.

Updated 5 October 2026

Open Create a caller. The page asks “What should this caller do?” Write the job in plain words: who to call, why, what to ask, and what counts as done. Creating a caller is free; you pay only for the calls it makes.

What to write

  • At least 20 characters, at most 24,000. Price lists and long documents go in the Knowledge tab, not here.
  • Pick the kind of calling: Call new leads (rings each new lead as it arrives) or Call a list (works through a list).
  • Pick the Primary language: Telugu (default), Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi or English. The caller mixes in English the way people do.
  • Optionally tap an industry chip (Real estate, Coaching & tuition, Hospital & clinic, Car & bike dealership, and others) so the draft uses the right words.
  • Natural Telugu is on by default and uses everyday spoken Telugu.
  • Have a script exported from another caller? Open Import a script file (JSON) and choose Create from script.
Example brief
Call every new enquiry from my Instagram ad for 2BHK flats in Kukatpally. Ask what they need, whether they want a site visit this week, and their budget. If they are not interested, thank them and end. Book the visit if they say yes.

What you get

Click Create caller. In a minute or two you get a draft with a first name, a one-line job description, an opening line, numbered steps, an FAQs step, end-of-call rules, a strictness level, the fields to capture on every call, a recommended voice for the language, and the {{variables}} the script needs from each lead. Anything the brief left out appears as a suggestion you can answer in place.

Before you publish

  • Publishing needs a name, the job description and the “what it knows” text on the Knowledge tab.
  • A test call to your own phone is recommended but not required.
  • The caller's tabs are Overview, its calling tab (Lead response, Incoming calls or Call lists), Call script, Knowledge, Actions, Outcomes, Voice and Settings. Each has its own guide here.

Common questions

How long does it take?
Usually a minute or two. If drafting takes longer than about two minutes it stops and you can try again; you can create three drafts a minute.
Can I change the name it chose?
Yes, on the caller's Settings tab. The name applies to live calls straight away; it is not part of the versioned script.
