Test call, Try it and Chat test
Three ways to hear or read your AI caller before it rings a customer: a real test call to your phone, a voice conversation in the browser, and a free text test on the Knowledge tab. What each costs.
Updated 5 October 2026
All three use the draft version, so you hear your latest edits. The caller's header has a button for each: Test call, Try it and Chat test.
Test call
- Enter your number (10 digits for India, otherwise
+and the country code) and an optional lead name, tick “I have permission to call this number. This test places a real call and uses my calling credits.”, then Place test call. - Test calls are billed like real calls: 7.98 credits a minute on any voice, in 30-second blocks. Your 50 welcome credits cover about 6 minutes. There are no free calls and no call limits; when your credits run out, calls stop.
- Without your own phone number the call goes out on our shared line; it costs the same either way.
- With a ₹0 balance the call is refused; add credits first.
Try it (in the browser)
- Try a caller opens a voice conversation in your browser using the same script and voice as real calls. Click Start talking, allow the microphone, and speak normally.
- It costs the same per minute as a phone call. The page shows the rate and how many minutes your balance covers.
- Two browser sessions can run at once per account, and you can start at most five a minute. It needs a microphone and a secure (https) page.
- These sessions are saved as calls with the direction “browser” and are left out of your call counts and exports.
Chat test
On the Knowledge tab, Ask a test question is free. Type a question and click Ask to see how the caller answers with what it knows, with no credits used. It is the quickest way to spot a missing fact before anyone hears it.
